Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm (with a 2-hour break)

Location: West London

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and professional Live-in Housekeeper / House Manager to join a private UHNW family of three based in West London (two principals and their 7-year-old daughter).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, well-established household team, working alongside a Chef, PA, and an additional Housekeeper. The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining the home to an exceptional standard, while also overseeing the day-to-day management and smooth running of the property.

The role requires a highly organised, discreet, and proactive individual who is confident working independently.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the property to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and organisation
• Manage all laundry duties, including ironing and coordinating dry cleaning
• Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep
• Liaise with and supervise contractors and service providers
• Ensure all household areas and storage spaces are well organised
• Manage household supplies, groceries, and cleaning products
• Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel and events
• Support front-of-house duties, including greeting guests and assisting with meal service when required
• Prepare and serve breakfast
• Receive, unpack, and organise deliveries
• Run errands, including shopping and occasional school drop-offs/collections
• Ensure family vehicles are clean, fuelled, serviced, and well maintained
• Assist with household budgeting, bills, and administrative tasks
• Provide occasional babysitting and ad hoc childcare support
• Care for the family’s two cats, particularly when the family is away

 Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role within a private household
• Previous experience working for a UHNW family in London (live-in preferred)
• Highly professional, discreet, and trustworthy
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Excellent, contactable references
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Valid passport
• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving in London (preferred)
• Up-to-date DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
