Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny req for Dorset/Somerset Border - Paying up to £50K.

Working for a lovely, very informal family living  Dorset/Somerset Border, you will be required to live-in for this role and must be a confident driver, happy to ferry 2 delightful 10 years old to local school daily. 

Responsible for all housekeeping; cleaning, washing and ironing for a busy family with lots of laundry requirements, you will be accommodated bed/bath for first 6-8 months of job whilst family in rental accommodation, until they move to stunning, renovated new house where there will be separate 1 bed flat accommodation, away from the main house provided.

Kids at school all day, so this role is mainly housekeeping and light, family cooking. Some additional light Private PA work for wife may also be required so all housekeepers applying must be able to speak/write English and use the internet with confidence. 

Required to work Monday to Friday mostly, with occasional weekends, if parents in London but mostly a weekday job which is rare for a countryside position. 

Family has a London base so parents may need to stay over, leaving the Housekeeper/Nanny responsible for kids. 

Ideally seeking a caring Housekeeper looking to become part of a family and ideally stay a long time, forming relationships with teenager kids a they mature, currently twins now 10 years old.

Paying between £40-50K ideally, might pay up to £52 for an exceptional housekeeper and good cook.

This job would ideally suit a London housekeeper/nanny looking to move to the countryside who has a minimum of 3 years private housekeeping/nanny experience or an ex- yachting steward looking for a land-based role, looking to work for a lovely family.

All housekeepers must have natural energy and enthusiasm, able to easily engage easily with two active, inquisitive 10 year olds entertaining them if parents in London for an night.
