Live-In House Manager/Butler

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and proactive Live-In House Manager/Butler to support a lovely couple in their exquisite residence in Holland Park, London. Super, separate 2 bed flat provided with the job in Holland Park.

This is a unique opportunity to take full responsibility for the smooth running of a large, beautifully appointed home. The environment is informal but requires the highest standards of service and attention to detail. You will manage a small team of housekeepers, coordinate with external contractors (gardeners, maintenance, suppliers), and ensure the day-to-day operations of the home are seamless.

You will also provide hands-on service to the principals and their guests, so a polished, concierge-level approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the household and housekeeping team

• Overseeing maintenance, gardening, and contractors

• Serving the principals and their guests to a high standard

• Wardrobe management and care of fine furnishings and artwork

• Light cooking duties when required

• Occasional travel and weekend support

• Ensuring the home is always immaculate and guest-ready

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a similar House Manager/Butler role

• A genuine all-rounder – hands-on, practical, and highly organised

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Eye for detail and pride in maintaining a luxurious environment

• Client-focused, discreet, and personable

• Comfortable with pets (a dog lover is a must!)

• Energetic, flexible, and proactive attitude

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm (occasional weekends/travel)

• Location: Holland Park, London

• Accommodation: Live-in (superb 2-bedroom accommodation available) 

• Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience and accommodation needs

• Start date: Immediate
