Food & Beverage Manager (Private Household – Central London)

Ideally suitable for someone who has worked on a high end luxury yacht overseeing all Food and Beverage for VIP client seeking a London, land-based role but happy with some travel abroad.

£90,000 + great benefits | International travel included

We’re looking for someone with a background in yachting or luxury hospitality to join a VIP private household in Central London. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a high-profile couple, leading their food and beverage operation across multiple residences in the UK and abroad.

If you love creating incredible dining experiences, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-standard environment, this could be a fantastic fit.

Role:

  • You’ll take the lead across both the Butler and Chef teams, making sure everything runs smoothly day to day while delivering a consistently exceptional experience.
  • Overseeing team schedules, rotas, and general operations
  • Managing purchasing and sourcing top-quality ingredients and supplies
  • Leading service during dinners, events, and special occasions
  • Training and mentoring the team to maintain world-class standards

Dining & Events:

  • You’ll be right at the heart of planning and delivering everything from intimate dinners to high-profile events.
  • Organising dining experiences from start to finish
  • Creating seating plans and overseeing table presentation
  • Working closely with the Lady of the House on style and details

Guest experience:

  • Keeping track of guest preferences, allergies, and dietary needs
  • Making every dining experience feel personal and seamless
  • Anticipating what’s needed before it’s even asked for

Food & supplier coordination:

  • Collaborating with chefs on menus and new ideas
  • Sourcing premium, high-quality (ideally organic) produce
  • Managing supplier relationships and procurement

Working with the Principals:

  • Preparing weekly dining plans
  • Suggesting creative dining concepts and themed evenings
  • Bringing fresh, thoughtful ideas to the table

Travel & multi-residence support:

  • Travelling internationally (around 3 trips per year, 2–3 weeks each)
  • Supporting operations across different residences
  • Coordinating staff and service standards globally

Food safety & organisation:

  • Keeping everything compliant, organised, and running efficiently
  • Monitoring stock, storage, and hygiene standards

You’ll likely come from a UHNW household, luxury yacht, 5-star hotel, or VIP hospitality background. Just as important is your attitude—you’re calm, organised, and take real pride in what you do.

Key skills:

  • Strong leadership across both front-of-house and kitchen teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • A good understanding of fine dining and global cuisine
  • Professional, discreet, and service-focused
  • Flexible and happy to travel

Ideally suitable for a candidate:

  • Polished and detail-oriented
  • Calm and confident under pressure
  • Proactive and solution-focused
  • A great communicator
  • Naturally discreet and trustworthy

Salary: £90,000 per year + excellent benefits
