Daily Housekeeoper/Light Cook

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly organised, and professional Housekeeper/Cook to join a private household on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards within a private family environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete management of all housekeeping duties, together with the preparation of fresh, high-quality daily meals for a family of three. The role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who is able to work independently, use initiative confidently, and maintain absolute discretion and professionalism at all times.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

£50,000+ per annum, depending on experience and suitability on a SELF-EMPLOYED contract ideally

Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping management of the residence to an exceptional standard
• Daily cleaning, tidying, and organisation of all household areas
• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate and high-quality garments
• Preparation and cooking of nutritious, well-presented meals for the family
• Kitchen management, including cleanliness, stock rotation, and grocery organisation
• Ensuring the household remains clean, orderly, and efficiently run at all times
• Working independently while anticipating the needs of the household

Requirements:

• Proven experience working within a private household in a similar role
• Strong housekeeping and cooking abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Professional, trustworthy, and discreet manner
• Ability to work efficiently without supervision
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent written references are essential and must be provided for consideration
