Permanent Weekend Housekeeper / Cook – VIP Private Household, Westminster, London

Position: Permanent Weekend Housekeeper / Cook

Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

Pay: £25 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Weekend Housekeeper / Cook to join a VIP private household in Marylebone. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient and confident individual who can manage the household independently over the weekend, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and family-style cooking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the household during weekends, when the weekday team (housekeepers, chefs, and house manager) are off duty. You will be the main point of contact in the property and must be comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities:

  • Full weekend housekeeping of the residence to a high standard
  • Preparing and serving family-style meals for the principals
  • Cooking simple, wholesome dishes such as Sunday roast, shepherd’s pie, and other traditional family meals
  • Reheating and serving pre-prepared dishes left by the weekday chef, where required
  • Preparing late breakfasts for the principals
  • Ensuring the kitchen and all living areas are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times
  • Managing general household upkeep and cleaning tasks throughout the day
  • Working independently with a proactive and organised approach

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper and/or Cook in a private household
  • Confident cooking ability, particularly family-style meals
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the household
